American Hunt

You say “one day”, ill say that day will never come.

You say you “don’t trust me”, well who’s there to trust without you?

You say that I’m “angry and mean”, who isn’t when their feelings get hurt

You say that I “don’t show affection”, hard to do that when you never let me close

You tell me that I “don’t appreciate your love”, If I didn’t then why did I stay?

You say “you lied to me”, everybody lies to everybody

You say “I need to be treated right”, i would give everything to treat you like a princess

but i guess at the end of the day.. none of that is enough for someone that wants an excuse to delay love for some foolish gesture.
